BIO
Dr. Michael W. Thompson was born and raised in Paducah, Kentucky. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Zoology and Chemistry from the University of Louisville and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Thompson is currently employed as a professor
in the Biology and Zoology Departments at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Dr. Thompson has been an avid cyclist, runner, and triathlete for many years, and a strong advocate for outdoor recreation.
